If your summer plans include a little intellectual stimulation and self-improvement, start it right at TEDxBrisbane on December 2. Applications for tickets are now open (that’s right, you’ll have to be approved to be allowed to buy a ticket) but you won’t know who’s speaking until later because they “want people to apply to attend because they want to become a part of our TEDx community, and not because they are fans of one or two individual speakers.” Consider your curiosity piqued.
If you do miss out on a ticket you can always livestream the event from the comfort of your living room.
