About the workshop

In this workshop you’ll learn techniques to create your own stunning sterling silver necklace with renowned silversmith, Renata Fojtikova. Renata will teach you key jewellery design concepts and the basic techniques for hand crafting silver. You’ll learn how to create beautiful silver components for beaded necklaces, including how to cut out and polish silver charms, chain links and clasps.

What you’ll get

+ You’ll be provided with a basic design outline but are welcome to develop your own unique design using your newly learned skills
+ Beaded silver neck chain to put your newly created pendant on
+ All tools, materials and safety equipment you need to make your own earrings
+ Snacks, tea, coffee and juice!

+ Packed lunch – there’s also plenty of places close by to eat lunch

About Renata

Renata is a multi-award-winning silversmith with over 10 years’ experience. Since graduating from the Queensland College of Art (QCA) with a Masters in Visual Arts, Renata has taught at professional institutions, such as QCA, TAFE, Brisbane Institute of Art and Flying Arts Alliance. Renata’s vision for her ‘bespoke skills’ is that learning should be accessible to everyone; her workshops cover all skill levels.
