The event creator says
The Center for Theological Activism exists to promote the use of theology in activism. We gather annually to honor persons who have shown great skill with regards to taking different shades of theological activism to the public square. This year we will honor seven people:

Carmarion D. Anderson, Minister at Living Faith Covenant Church

Dr. Irie Lynne Session, Pastor of The Avenue

Tashi Nyima, Buddhist Monk

Jason Redick, Youth Minister at Holy Covenant United Methodist Church

Todd Whitley, Executive Director of Hope for Peace & Justice

Yadi Martinez, Youth Minister at Cathedral of Hope

Ailey Pope, Student at Perkins School of Theology

During dinner, we will hear from each of these honorees about their work and activism. We invite you to join us for the beauty of it all at Bridge Bistro on May 21 from 6:30pm to 9:00pm. Dinner will be $15.
