March 7th, 2015 marks the 50th anniversary of the first legendary march across the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama. This was the first of three marches for the Selma Voting Rights Movement and led to the passage of the Voting Rights Act, a landmark federal achievement of the 1960s American Civil Rights Movement. Address: 200 Singleton Blvd Dallas Tx 75212 The Next Generation Action Network is honored to commemorate this legacy by hosting “Continuing the Legacy Walk; Remembering Selma” on Saturday March 7th.
