Survival Guide & Lungs and Limbs are out on tour together. They want to give the Good Records constituency a taste of their show later that night at The Crown and Harp. They will be playing stripped down sets while we quench your thirst with cerveza.

Survival Guide is an artistic endeavor featuring California vocalist and keyboardist Emily Whitehurst (previously of Tsunami Bomb and The Action Design). Her music falls somewhere between indie rock and electronic, always with descriptive, storytelling lyrics, strong vocals and a sprinkle of pop. After supporting Joan Jett, performing at First City Festival 2014 (Beck, The National, Phantogram) and recording a freshman full-length album, Survival Guide was named one of the Top 12 Bay Area Bands of 2014 by San Francisco’s premier rock radio station, Live 105.

"If you're a fan of electronic-pop music, then you've got to hear Lungs and Limbs." (SF Weekly). Known for their thick, hip-hop-and-80's-inspired beats, cowboy guitar licks and hook-laden vocals, alt-pop band Lungs and Limbs are a rising sound in the Bay Area. Their debut EP Lifelike (2015) received positive press from critics in the Bay Area, Boston, LA, Germany and beyond. On December 2 the band released their second EP, Big Bang.
