The Demigs | Moon Waves | Pearl Earl Live At Double Wide says
The Demigs
Since 2006, The Demigs (Denton, TX) have been craftsmen of song and sound. Called “a criminally overlooked jewel of pop artistry” and “without peer,” The Demigs combine the intensity of their live shows with the magnetic attraction of their studio albums — Yardling (2007) and Cities Can Wait (2011).

Together with I Love Math Records, The Demigs unveil their third album, Welcome to Hard Times. Interspersing straightforward rock and roll with lush soundscapes, this double LP traverses through and beyond the human condition, while grappling with life in 21st century middle-class America. Balancing bleak prophesy with sober acquiescence and a stoic hopefulness, Welcome to Hard Times is a modern classic.

Moon Waves
Moon Waves is a Dallas-based rock n’ roll band reviving the psychedelic vibes of the 60’s and 70’s. With influences spanning from the 60’s to modern neo-psychedelia, Moon Waves opens the musical spectrum and brings nostalgia and invention into the playing field.

Pearl Earl
Pearl Earl is a Denton-based act who makes “Rainbow Fuzz Power,” which is a more than perfect description for their sound. More often than not, it seems as if garage rock steers toward menacing noise and feedback fueled raucous. Pearl Earl kicks that notion to the curb, with a set of charming lead vocals, and a rush of rock that’s more akin to swimming in a sea of beautiful psychedelia. -
