The event creator says
This year’s Taste of Dallas event (tasteofdallas.org) is hosting a tiny house village! The village will display SIX tiny houses. These houses are all built, owned, and lived-in full-time by their homeowners, who will be on-site to share their experiences living tiny!

Homes available to tour include:
-- A Bed Over My Head (Beth Ann Norrgard, blogger at abedovermyhead.com, founding member at tinyhousecollaborative.com, and founder of DFW Tiny House Enthusiasts)
-- House (said with Canadian accent) (Nina Zamudio - baninabegins.blogspot.com)
-- The Little Fish House (Demere O’Dell - thelittlefishhouse.com)
-- This Little Home of Mine (Brittnie' Harris - https://www.facebook.com/BrittnieTinyHome/)
-- Terraform Tiny House (Richard Ward - terraformth.com)
-- The Whittle Wagon (Andrew Whittle & Heather Nicholson - https://www.facebook.com/The-Whittle-Wagon-1119076628125855/)

These homes are not “show” homes, and the homes are not for sale. These are private residences which are being opened to the public for educational purposes.

-- Shoes that are easy to take off and put on. Some homeowners request that shoes be removed or covered to protect the flooring. Shoe covers may be available.
-- Sunscreen and an umbrella for sun/rain protection and shade while standing in line.
-- A notepad to write down web/email addresses and contact information for asking additional questions after the event.

-- Food and drinks outside. No food or drink inside the homes, please!

We have taken into consideration the feedback from after our Earth Day Texas "Tiny House Village," and hope that our new arrangement will alleviate any confusion regarding the lines and help cut down on the wait times. The Taste of Dallas event organizers have spread the houses out this time, so that each line will be clearly demarcated. That said, the tiny house movement is rapidly gaining popularity, so please anticipate line waits of 30 minutes or more (bring an umbrella for shade!).

We look forward to seeing you there!
