Contentment From Within says
With Becky Eschenroeder and Margo Buchanan

How much time do you spend moving towards where you want to be verses being content with where you are? Where can you create space on your life? What would that space allow you to let in? What do you cling to (mentally/physically)? How could letting go of this allow you to let yourself live more fully and deeply?

Explore these questions and perhaps begin to work towards answers as you join Becky & Margo for three hours of exploring the philosophy behind Santosha, the second of the five Niyamas.
Navigate towards the contentment that exists within (no matter what life may have to offer) as we partake in journaling and discussion and flow though a Vinyasa practice.

This will be followed by various practices that encourage finding that place of true acceptance and contentment, including progressive relaxation, visualization, and yoga nidra.
Please dress comfortably and bring a mat, a journal and a pen. It's also best to avoid eating a heavy meal 60 minutes prior to this workshop.

Cost:
Early Bird price: $50 until July 21st
$60 after July 21st

About Becky: Becky Eschenroeder—a Richmond Virginia native—is an accomplished Yogi who is recognized as a 200 hour E-RYT, RCYT and was voted as one of the top three yoga instructors by Richmond Magazine in 2015. Becky studied under Arlene Bjork and Grace Yoga Training Systems prior to Arlene’s passing in late 2009.
It is through this experience that she made the commitment to be a full-time yoga teacher. Becky made the conscious decision to dedicate her life to bringing her love of yoga, movement, and learning to all walks of life as evidenced by her deep commitment and involvement in such initiatives as Project Yoga Richmond and YoKid.
With a degree in Psychology from James Madison University combined with her elementary school teaching license from Mary Baldwin College, Becky uses both her knowledge and experience in these disciplines to design yoga workshops, classes and retreats, here and abroad, that expand the senses, broadens the mind, and opens the heart to what is truly possible.

About Margo:
Power yoga instructor, Margo Buchanan uses her physical practice on the mat, as a way to check in with what is going on off the mat.
Growing up as a competitive gymnast, Margo fell in love with the strength and endurance that the challenge of power yoga gives her. However, after completing Level One with Baron Baptiste, she experienced a transformation in her personal power, recognizing her ability to create a life that nourishes her.
She supports and encourages her students to push past discomfort and into possibility. Margo received her 200-hour Teacher Training at her home studio, Down Dog, a Baptiste afilliated studio in Washington, DC and is currently working towards becoming a Baptiste Certified Instructor. She is also certified to teach yoga to children of all ages and uses her yoga philosophy in her clinical work as a child therapist in her day job.
