About
Dr. Manoj Chalam at Karma Yoga Center

Sunday is the second day of Dr. Manoj’s talks about the yogic deities. He will be covering NEW stories and deities in each workshop on Saturday and Sunday Oct 24 & 25. Attend both the Saturday and Sunday workshop and get the Maha download on the deities. Or, you can choose to attend a single session on either date. There will also be light yoga asana taught by studio owner Katrina Gustafson to accompany Dr. Manoj’s talks.

The Upanishads are Vedic scriptures that reveal the Self in us. Enlightenment is the journey of Knowing the Self, abiding in the Self and seeing the same Self in others with love and compassion. It involves the practices of Shravanam (listening), Mananam (contemplation) and Nidhidhyasanam (abiding in the Self). The question then arises, what role do these deities such as Ganesh, Shiva, Lakshmi, Buddha,Tara play in this journey?

Manoj will bring in statues of these deities and relate their symbolisms to our journey to enlightenment. Through archetypical story telling, discover your Isthadevata (personal archetype), uncover their secret symbolisms and learn the four ways to work with them as part of a practice towards spiritual awakening.

Manoj will help you find your personal deity/Ishtadevata and will have some of his high vibrational murtis with him to share.
