L.A. Casting Director Cathy Reinking: The Truth About Booking Acting Jobs In Tv And Film says
"How can you stand out from all the other actors we come in contact with? It comes from within, by revealing your own unique and natural charisma. We see it today on the popular voice and dance competition TV shows; the judges are yearning to see each performer shine and reveal their authentic self and natural charisma. This is what makes a casting director, producer, and director attracted and emotionally moved by you, which is what needs to happen so you will get hired. We can’t just like you, we have to LOVE you." -- Cathy Reinking
