A lot has changed in health care since the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) was passed in 2010, which allowed millions of Americans get health insurance coverage who did not previously have it. LGBT Coloradans are less likely to have insurance and less likely to seek out health care even if they are insured for many reasons; including fear of discrimination, difficulty finding knowledgeable providers, and having a low- to moderate- income.

With Obamacare, and other policies put into place since 2010, the rights of LGBT patients in Colorado have increased! Come to our workshop to learn your rights, learn how to navigate the health care system, and learn how to get the best care for yourself without fear or retaliation.

All are welcome. We can't wait to see you there! The most powerful advocate is you!
