Film Acting Academy of Denver says
Why does acting in movies and TV look so easy? Because it is! The secret to great “acting” when the camera is rolling is to not “act” at all, but rather to “be” yourself! Most importantly, working actors know that “presence” is more important the “performance” but too many actors choose to overact rather to let the scene happen. Most film and TV actors are simply being themselves when on screen. Beyond that, the difference between acting in front of an audience and acting in front of a camera is about understanding that ‘less is more’ on film. Actors do that by connecting to and listening to their scene partner, surrendering to their environment, realizing that movie acting is almost always a private conversation between scene partners, and by letting the other elements in film do their job! See? Easy! Space in this free class (normally $135) is limited so please e-mail Patrick at patpub62@msn.com to reserve your spot.
