Denver Museum of Nature & Science says
The worlds of science and storytelling are closer than you might imagine. As Mummies: New Secrets from the Tombs reveals, scientists have pioneered new techniques, from DNA sampling to computer modeling, to unearth detailed narratives of the lives of ancient Peruvians and Egyptians. In this workshop, you’ll use that information as a foundation to write your own story, giving voice to one of the mummies in the exhibition. Plan to take a guided tour of the exhibition first, followed by lunch and a writing workshop led by Lighthouse Writers Workshop. Bring along a pen and a notebook, and you’ll have the option to submit your completed story to the Museum.

This workshop is perfect for 6th-8th graders!
