Slide and Glide your way across the floor!
Learn tricks, tips, combos and strengthening exercises to enhance your belly dance with floor work! We will focus on building strength and flexibility and touch on spins, how to get down to and up from the ground, and work on some fun combos. Knee pads for this session are REQUIRED and you will not be allowed to participate without them. This is to protect your knee health and prevent injury.

5/6, 5/13, 5/20, 5/27, 6/3, 6/10, 6/17, 6/24

$80 for the entire session or $15 drop in. Current students may use their punch card for this class.

About Balance:
In this brand new format we will be focusing on technique, movement exercises, strengthening, and dance drills to help “Balance” you out as a dancer and challenge you. In addition to these exercises, we will also have a 2 month focus to help keep the mind sharp and the creative juices flowing. Some examples of monthly themes include (but are not limited to!!!): layering, footwork, floor work, musicality, zil drills, fusion choreography, improv exercises...the list goes on! This class is suited best for people who have some previous belly dance experience. Please bring a yoga mat and water bottle to class. This class will run in 2 month sessions, however drop-ins are available.
