The Carriage House Series: Bottle Release Of Frightened Baby Chipmunk says
We are pleased to annouce the tapping and limited bottle release of 'Frightened Baby Chipmunk', the second installment of the CTA Carriage House Series!

"The Carriage House" was the original name of Call to Arms, and as carriage houses themselves are offshoots of one's residence, the Carriage House Series acts as CTA's wild, sour, and barrel-aged offshoot project.

Batch 2 of the Carriage House Series will be a wildly tart Farmhouse Saison blended with D'Anjou Pears. Using Pilsner, White Wheat, and Acidulated malts - along with Nelson Sauvin hops - in the brew, we intially fermented with a French Saison yeast, then barrel-conditioned the beer in Chardonnay and Cabernet barrels alongside Brett Claussenii and D'Anjour Pears.

Pouring a hazy golden hue, you can expect aroma and flavor notes of passion fruit, cantalope, soft farmhouse funk, ripe pear, and lemon zest - with a slightly tart finish.

'Frightened Baby Chipmunk' will be released on Thursday, August 18th at 3pm when we open the doors for business. There will only be 100 375mL bottles available, with a limit of 2 bottles per customer. There will also be a limited amount of 'Frightened Baby Chipmunk' available on tap for this event, so please join us as we explore the CTA Carriage House Series of unique and experiemental ales and lagers.

"Like the frightened baby chipmunk, you are scared by anything that is different." - Jean Girard, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby.
