Columnist Mike Littwin covered his first presidential campaign in 1984 (note the year; you think it's a coincidence?) when he went to New Hampshire for The Los Angeles Times to see Gary Hart pull off one of the great electoral upsets in modern history. Over the last 32 years, Littwin thought he'd seen everything possible to see along the campaign trail. He saw Hillary Clinton's near-tear episode in New Hampshire. He saw Howard Dean's full scream in Iowa. He saw Sarah Palin put lipstick on a pig in Minneapolis. He saw Tom Tancredo walk into a Mexican all-you-can-eat buffet in Des Moines.

But he's never seen anything like Donald Trump. That's because no one has ever seen anything remotely like Donald Trump. If Trump wins on Nov. 8, Littwin urges you to mark it on your calendar as the first day of the Apocalypse. And if loses on Nov. 8, you can mark down Nov. 9 as the first day of the revolution. Either way, it's going to be big. Or “bigly.” And there's much to discuss.

So join us for a nosh with Littwin from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. this Sunday, Nov. 6 at our office, 700 Kalamath, Denver 80204.

Admission is a tax-deductible contribution of at least $50 in support of The Colorado Independent’s non-profit newsroom.
