The Lost Art Of Snail Mail says
REVIVING THE ART OF THE HAND WRITTEN LETTER.

“WHEN THOUGHTFULNESS IS ADDED TO KINDNESS, YOU HAVE THE BASIS OF ALL GOOD MANNERS.”

Sending a letter is like showing up at someone’s door to give them a hug. From congratulations to gratitude, from sympathy to happy holidays, personally designed cards with messages written in your own hand, in your own words, have special meaning. Plus, it’s just good manners. They are physical objects invested with your personal energy that create a connection not possible with modern technology.

In this two-part workshop, Jessie Capstick of Tangerine Room Events will show you how to make personalized note cards, including a simple form of hand lettering. You will go home with half a dozen cards of your own design. Then, our resident writing professor, Bethany O’Halloran, will take over to teach you how to easily write the perfect, heartfelt note.
