Tiny Library Concert, Featuring Harry Tuft And Dick Weissman, With Julia Hays says
Join us for a very special "Legends of Colorado Folk" Tiny Library Concert. Guitarist Harry Tuft is considered the godfather of folk in the Rocky Mountain region. In 1962, Tuft opened the Denver Folklore Center, the epicenter of the folk music revival in Colorado in the 1960s and 1970s. He was also founding member of the Colorado folk group Grubstake, with Steve Abbott and Jack Stanesco. Banjo master Dick Weissman started his musical career in the Greenwich Village folk scene in the 1960s and was a member of the folk trio The Journeymen with John Phillips (later of The Mamas & the Papas) and Scott McKenzie. He is co-author of the award-winning "Folk Music Songbook," among many other publications. They are joined by Julia Hays, a virtuoso fiddle player with eclectic roots in blues, jazz, country, Celtic, and Irish fiddle styles.

Doors open at 6:15pm, show starts at 7pm. Beer, wine, and cocktails available for purchase.
