The live art curators celebrate a decade on the fringe of the Fringe

It felt like a bit of a tragedy when a few years back the enforced closure of the original Forest Cafe forced top notch live art curators Forest Fringe to move their annual free mini-festival out of central Edinburgh. But as it enters its tenth year Forest Fringe feels at home in now not-so-new digs the Out of the Blue Drill Hall. Serenely far away from the main action, with tickets free (donation suggested), FF is best sampled by book yourself in for a day and blot the noise of the main Fringe out. As ever, this year's programme is jam-packed with goodies and curiosities – check out the website for full details, but it's always worth taking a punt.
