Lily Allen will perform at next summer’s Ruisrock, the festival announces. The first schedules and artist announcements for Ruisrock 2026 have now been released, and the British singer – whose new album West End Girl has been praised by both critics and fans – will appear at the festival on Sunday 5 July. Big things are expected from the Ruissalo show, as the audience will get to hear the entire album performed in full, in chronological order. The Ruisrock date is one of the artist’s few festival appearances in summer 2026.
Allen’s new album West End Girl has received glowing reviews worldwide, combining dark-toned melancholy, pop melodies and flashes of hopeful beauty. All of her shows next year have sold out instantly, with extra dates being added to meet huge demand.
The newly released festival programme also includes a strong line-up of Finnish artists. Alongside Lily Allen, domestic favourite Nylon Beat has been confirmed for the festival, following the group’s comeback shows at Helsinki Ice Hall that sold out in moments. Among the other Finnish acts is Eppu Normaali, currently on its farewell tour.
On the hip hop and rap front, Averagekidluke, Jore & Zpoppa, Melon and louna0nline. Jaakko Kulta, Olga and new rock band HOKKA (Pauli Rantasalmi, Jimi Aslak and Blind Channel’s Joel Hokka) add to the programme with shades of northern melancholy and modern rock.
Artist performance dates are now available, and all ticket types are on sale. More announcements will follow over the winter.
