New Scandic hotel for Tampere: Postitalo hotel opens in January

Scandic Postitalo will open in Tampere on 15 January 2026. Renovated in the former Holiday Inn premises, the Scandic hotel will offer 178 rooms and a central location, as the hotel is situated right next to Tampere railway station. Rooms will come with either city views or peaceful views over the inner courtyard.

Hotel facilities include a breakfast area and restaurant, meeting spaces, a gym room, saunas and good parking options. Not all renovations are yet complete, and the hotel’s interiors will continue to get a fresh new look during the early months of the year.
