The new suites look out over the Espoo archipelago and are filled with Nordic design

Hotel Hanaholmen, located in Hanasaarenranta in Espoo, has launched ten new junior suites designed with relaxation in mind: harmonious colour palettes, soft textures and natural materials that together create a space where it’s just as easy to work as it is to take a proper break from everyday life.
The interiors are strikingly colourful, and the aesthetic continues the playful spirit typical of Hanaholmen. As with all the hotel’s rooms, the new junior suites look out over the Espoo archipelago, and that same sense of calm nature carries inside through Nordic art and artistic lighting.
The new junior suites are designed by Jukka Halminen of the interior architecture studio KOKO3 and are located on the first floor. Svenskt Tenn patterns also appear in the new rooms, and the textiles include work by Finnish and Nordic manufacturers.
‘Our new suites are a window onto the beautiful Finnish archipelago and Nordic design. I believe they will appeal to both our domestic and international guests,’ says hotel director Kai Mattsson.
The renovated junior suites complement Hanaholmen’s staycation concept, which also includes the 360-degree glass sauna completed in summer 2025 – a perfect place to combine sea views, forest calm and a sauna experience.
