An international water giant’s marketing campaign is bringing a free water bar to Helsinki.

A pop-up bar opening in Erottaja on 17 April 2026 offers the chance to spend an evening in a bar where only water is served. The concept is part of a marketing campaign by Danone’s Aqua d’Or water brand, which is transforming Adams Hall into a water bar hosting daytime pilates sessions and evening parties powered by flavoured waters. The pop-up is open mainly on weekends from 17 April–1 May.
By day, the pop-up hosts pilates classes by Bay Studios, while evenings feature DJ sets from the Somebody & She So Annoying collective, speed dating by Tatskatytöt, a dance class and a running club.
While the water bar is clearly a marketing stunt, it’s also genuinely fun, challenging traditional ways of partying: does a great night out really need alcohol to work?
The water bar is open on Fridays and Saturdays until May Day. Daytime pilates sessions are already fully booked, but in the evenings you can walk in without a reservation. DJs are playing, the water is flowing and the atmosphere is surprisingly high.
And perhaps best of all: everything is completely free. There’s no entry fee and all drinks are free.
If you’re after something fresher this May Day – literally – Aqua d’Or might just be one of the city’s most refreshing party spots.
