Time Out says

Manchester's Cosmosis Festival may only be a few years old, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't expect BIG things for 2016...

An incredibly worthy rival to the North West's landmark Liverpool International Festival of Psychedelia, Manchester's Cosmosis Festival is busy making huge waves as we approach its next bash in its new, much bigger home of Victoria Warehouse.

For their best trick yet, this year the bill is aching with the strength of heavyweight names on the psych and alt rock circuit from across the decades, most notably including the likes of The Jesus and Mary Chain (almost warranting the ticket price alone), The Brian Jonestown Massacre (ditto), ranty Nottingham duo Sleaford Mods, Denmark's The Raveonettes and LA psych outfit Allah-Las, along with The Lucid Dream, K-X-P, The Cosmic Dead, Of Montreal, Manchester's own PINS and many more.

Since its debut in 2014 it's been a great one to watch grow, rapidly and excitingly, and it seems the city's dedication is being rewarded with a particularly promising outlook for 2016.
