Formed in Santiago after two friends met up for the first time in years, The Holydrug Couple have been making music together since 2008. Since those early days spent jamming together, they've released 'Ancient Land' in 2011 and 'Notuary' two years later, both release on Sacred Bones.
This year sees the duo's latest release, 'Moonlust', which was self-recorded in Chile. Pushing the boundaries of their established psych-rock sound, the album takes influences from the music of Serge Gainsbourg, whilst also tapping into the soul of Aretha Franklin, 80s SouthAmerican synthpop acts and the French electro group Air.
