As part of Manchester After Hours, Fred Aldous opens its doors for an evening of creativity.

This free event is a budding artist's dream, with the folk of Fred Aldous making a creative plea to you to adorn their walls by illustrating a series of canvases over five metres long.

As well as this, the brilliant John Powell Jones (SAVWO) and Textbook Studio are holding a risograph zine workshop, where you'll get to cut, paste and collage to create a two-colour collaborative zine - maybe even using your photobooth mugshots from Fred Aldous' infamous machine.

And throughout the evening, they've also enlisted the help of local artists to entertain with some live painting, including Chris Dorning, Martyn Marsland Mills and Sarah Mayhew.

Celebrating some of our fine local art and design types whilst letting the Mancunian masses get creative, this one's an undisputed corker.
