It's summer camp time again!

Students will learn everything they need to know to give a fantastic audition for both a play and a musical. At the end of camp, students will have a portfolio which will include a headshot, resume, a ballad, an up tempo song, and a monologue. Kids will sing, dance, and act. This is a fun camp that will teach your kids everything they need to know about auditioning and landing that perfect role.

*There will be a student showcase on Friday, June 19, at 1 p.m. and Saturday, June 20, at 2 p.m.

Camp Cost: $100.00

This camp is open to students from 1st grade through 9th grade.


Students will receive a drink and snack each. They may bring food from home and there will also be items at the theater for sale. FRIDAY IS FREE PIZZA DAY!

Each day will have a fun themed dress up day (optional).

Your head counselor will be owner and artistic director of the Breakthrough Theatre, Wade Hair. Before opening the theater, Wade was a teacher with Orange County Public Schools for 13 years. He taught at Wheatley Elementary, Robinswood Middle, Howard Middle, Ocoee High, and Wekiva High. While at Howard Middle School, he also served as the coordinator of the City of Orlando's Afterschool All-Stars Program. He graduated from UCF with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, with an added certification in Drama. He left teaching to open the Breakthrough Theatre, which is about to finish its sixth successful year. Wade is the proud father of two wonderful children and loves traveling (especially to NYC), reading, music, and theater.
