Call For Artists! March Church Street Art Stroll Part Of Third Thursday Gallery Hop!

This and every month on the 3rd Thursday as part of the 3rd Thursday Art Walk and Church Street Main Street District on Church Street by the Rusty Spoon. The Downtown Arts District and The Art for All Spaces present the 3rd Thursday Art Stroll. Cost to participate is $15 for a 10 foot wide space on the sidewalks of Church Street District (Some spaces may vary in size) in front of the businesses and restaurants on Church Street. Please be respectful and don't block the businesses doorways or windows too much. And please clean up after yourself. We would not be able to have this event without their support. Thank you. This is a family friendly event and is free & open to the public. This event will feature local businesses and some of the region's emerging and accomplished local artists of all mediums from the Central Florida community creating their works live with original Art for sale. There will also be live music. If you are creative and are interested in being apart of this event, please let us know. This is primarily a Visual Art Art Stroll, but it is open to everyone. Selling bought merchandise is not allowed. Raw nudity or drug references in the Art is not allowed. A picture of you and your work will probably be taken during the event by event organizers and/or event photographers to be used for nostalgia or promotion for this event. Most photos will be posted to the internet for public viewing. Things to bring to set up with: Table, Easels, Table Cloth, Your Supplies, Promotional Materials, Your Creations, Chair, Extension Cords, Power Strips, Battery Powered Lights, Plug In Lights, Duct Tape to tape down your extension cords, something to work on, etc... When you are unloading to set up you can park in one of the parking spaces on the street and then move your car to one of the parking garages. Please do not park in the street to unload. No double parking. We do try to make sure that there is power, or at least existing street lights, for the Artists to use. Please bring battery powered lights just in case. Set up starts at 5:00pm. When you arrive, go to the area in front of The Rusty Spoon to check in. The event will happen rain or shine. Payments can be made in advance or when you arrive to the event. Preferred spaces are given to those who prepay.
