Savour a one-of-a-kind culinary experience at Sushi L’Abysse Osaka Yannick Alléno, where the artistry of three-Michelin-starred French chef Yannick Alléno meets the masterful precision of sushi chef Itaru Yasuda. Following its acclaimed counterparts in Monaco and the two-Michelin-starred L’Abysse in Paris, the Osaka outpost continues the restaurant’s unique fusion of French gastronomy and Japanese tradition, embodying the distinctive culinary harmony that defines L’Abysse.
Perched high on the Four Seasons Hotel Osaka’s 37th floor, the restaurant offers sweeping views of the city skyline – an exquisite setting for a memorable lunch or dinner. Diners can look forward to a well-executed omakase experience, beginning with a series of appetisers presented under the concept of ‘Emotion’, which highlights Alléno’s refined French techniques. Among the standout dishes is the signature appetiser featuring a sasanishiki rice marshmallow dome served with seafood consommé.
The appetisers are followed by the ‘Nigiri’ course highlighting the season’s best seafood as showcased by Chef Yasuda. A unique touch to this offering is the side of gari pickled ginger, which is mixed with the mellow sweetness of apple to help cleanse the palate between sushi pieces. The meal concludes with ‘Amami', a selection of creative desserts that use a mix of sweet and savoury ingredients such as the restaurant's mushroom ice cream served with shimeji confit and soba nougat.
