As any visitor to their brewery can attest, Little Creatures know how to bring the good vibes, so we’re especially excited to hear they’ll be setting up a full day of fun for their dear beer enthusiasts.
Taking over the coveted Embargo Container Bar in Elizabeth Quay on Sunday March 5, Little Creatures Live is like a travelling circus showcasing a wide spread of Little Creatures’ own beers and cider, with plenty to eat plus live entertainment. Oh, and did we mention it's free to attend?
From 11am, punters will be able to sit and mingle in Embargo’s open riverside setting, with immersive performance art kicking off at 1.30pm (hello, fire eaters) both onstage and in roving acts. DJ Paul Gamblin, a long-serving Little Creatures DJ, will keep the party going after 10pm.
Now, about the beer. Eight tasty Little Creatures beers will be pouring, including their signature Pale Ale, Rogers’, IPA, Bright Ale and Pilsner. They’ll be bringing out Dog Days, a previous Little Creatures' summer seasonal, in both cans and on tap. This new favourite has recently become a permanent fixture on their brew roster. Plus it'll be a chance to sample the new limited release VHA-Shade Chaser IPA, a refreshing and malty single batch beer that’s modelled after the hop-centric US West Coast IPA style. And there’ll be some Pipsqueak cider on hand as well, for you apple fans.
Hop Heads can spend the day chatting up Little Creatures Craft Beer Ambassadors and learn about the beer at tasting sessions and craft beer school. The event is all ages, but if you're over 18, be sure to bring your ID to sample the bevvies.
Entrance to the event is free, with beers, cider and food available for purchase until the last keg runs dry.
