Time Out says

The heritage-listed Sail and Anchor is a true icon of Aussie craft brewing and a fine place to kick back and sample an ale

Laying claim to being the site of Australia’s first craft brewery back in the early 1980s, this pub was supporting the burgeoning, now booming industry, even before the term ‘craft’ was ever used. While the brewhouse is no longer in operation there’s no shortage of great beer from WA and beyond to be sampled from 27 taps, including 3 British handpumps. As you’d expect from a venue steeped in brewing, their calendar is bursting with Tap Takeovers, festivals and one-off events.
