The national music and arts festival hits new heights in its 25th year
Falls Downtown is back, this time taking over the Fremantle Oval precinct for an arts and music spectacular.
This year’s stellar line-up features Flume, Fleet Foxes, Run the Jewels, the Kooks, Liam Gallagher, Daryl Braithwaite and more.
With pass-outs and beach access, it’s easy to indulge in everything Freo has to offer in summertime. There’ll be an outdoor ‘danceteria’ hosted within the walls of the Old Fremantle Police Station, while after dark the Old Fremantle Jail will transform into a dance hall with blues, jazz and swing music to transport you to bygone eras.
The Falls Music and Arts Festival started as a humble music gathering in the early '90s in Lorne, Victoria. Fast forward to 2018 and the festival is now one of the crowning jewels in the Australian festival calendar.
