Nick Lupi, one half of Spit Syndicate, returns to Perth this month as one of the One Day DJs billed at One Day Sundays’ extra big long weekend edition at the Rosemount Hotel.
The first instalment of the super sized party saw the Rosie’s car park transformed into a sprawling block party wonderland, with an outdoor stage, bars, food stalls, and a pop-up temporary grass lawn. Lines snaked around the corner and the party heaved all afternoon and evening.
On Sunday April 24, catch DJ sets from Adit (Horrorshow), buzz band of the moment Koi Child, Gravy, Dawes, Charlie Bucket and Lupi. Local graff legend CHEEKS will be painting the huge mural wall of the Rosemount Hotel while you sip rosé like it’s going out of fashion on the grass. And there’s a public holiday the following day to cushion the fall of your inevitable hangover. It’s a no-brainer.
Lupi is no stranger to this city, regularly touring with his various musical incarnations. So, we picked his brain for the best eating, drinking, preening, shopping and partying spots.

The Rosemount Hotel
We’re obviously a touch biased because we’ve been throwing parties here for the past few years, but the Rosie is genuinely our favourite Perth hangout. It’s got great food and drink options, awesome live music, friendly staff and arguably the best beer garden in the country.
