Little Matcha Girl have set up digs on Preston Street, serving up Japanese-inspired treats and drinks in a beautiful space. Not only can you sample their matcha (ground green tea) in latte form, but also in their cakes – including the matcha eclair made from green tea crème patissière, choux pastry, sable topping and roasted genmaicha rice. The cake counter is a delicately arranged rainbow, with seasonal numbers like orange yuzu tarts making an appearance. Lunch-seekers can get their hands on onigiri too, and brews from Blacklist beans.
