After it’s roaring success at The Adelaide Cabaret Festival and at previews in Sydney and Melbourne, Damien Leith brings his show ‘The Parting Glass- An Irish Journey’ Nationally from May 2015.

… a polished and personable performance from an artist who has ridden his luck with great skill and now is deservedly rolling in four-leaf clover.” Matt Byrne

The show which incorporates both a play and a musical concert of classic Irish songs is set in an Irish pub and see’s Damien take on the character roles of both a father and a son who are catching up on lost time over a few drinks.

“The rousing renditions of traditional Irish songs were a highlight…” Anna Vlach, The Adelaide Advertsier

Filled with great conversation and humour, heartfelt emotion and a repertoire of rousing and touching Irish Songs (Danny Boy, Raglan Road, Toss the Feathers, Rocky Road to Dublin…), The Parting Glass is a show like none other. It showcases Damien as not only an exceptional musician and singer, but as a talented and engaging actor.

“An entertaining Irish-flavoured experience courtesy of a talented performer” Jamie Wright, Theatre Guide Australia

Audiences will be taken on a journey through words and songs, invited into the snug of an Irish pub with two endearing characters – they may laugh, they may cry but above all else, they’ll certainly be entertained.
