DEAD ICONS is a special event art show to celebrate the icons of stage and screen that are gone but never forgotten.
Perth artists Paul Deej Artist & Hi8us is your friend bring the first show to the new Koolroom space in the heart of Burswood, with a series of portraits of personal favourite celebrities and musicians.
Joining on the night to provide a soundtrack for the show is DJ/Producer Rob Shaker from Shake Down Studio!

About the Artists
Paul Deej is a professional artist from Perth, WA. Starting as a designer and illustrator 15 years ago, in 2010 Deej took his artwork onto walls, canvases and into galleries, and has exhibited all over Australia.
Deej’s bold colourful work is inspired by the popular cultures of movies, comics & Hip Hop.

Scott Armstrong AKA hi8us is a self-taught coloured blind artist. He started painting over 10 years ago as a stress relief after the 9-5 grind but it has developed into much more over the last few years. Starting on the walls of the Condor Carpark to cafes, restaurants around town and more recently a couple of successful solo exhibitions in the South West.
Hi8us’s work has a street influenced pop art style which shows off his love of music and film.
