The event creator says
Hilton Harvest Community Garden Earth Hour celebrations are well known in the Fremantle area and this year is no exception. Moving away from their traditional Twilight Fair, this year is an even more grass roots Earth Hour picnic. Held on Sat 25th March 4- 9pm guests can expect an incredible line up of musicians, children’s entertainment and food stalls but BYO picnic is also in order.

Welcome to Country by Phil Walleystack and featuring Western Australians premier dreamtime soul duo The Merinda’s. These headliners will be followed by other fantastic local musicians, belly dancers and children’s entertainment. There’ll be the annual Great sweet potato dig and other events such as beeswax sandwich wrap making and telescope star gazing with the Astronomical Society. There’s food stalls or BYO picnic hamper. Entry by donation $5 and children under 16 free.

This is a waste free event. Last year we had about 2000 people attend and ended the night with just a small sized sulo bin full.

Everyone is welcome!
