Nature Play WA says
An evening to inspire, motivate and inform!

This two hour session offers community members (teachers, administrators, education assistants, teachers, parents, P&C members, community groups, local councils) an overview of what nature play is and how to implement nature play in your individual environment.

From Engaging Outdoor Learning, educators Trudi Bennett and Daniel Burton will explore the background research and overwhelming benefits of Outdoor Classrooms and how the natural environment, including that patch of land at the end of the oval, can be used to enhance learning and personal growth. They will be joined by Perth Educators sharing local stories about their own outdoor classrooms with the aim to enable participants to return to their communities with renewed passion, confidence and energy.

Nature Play WA Play Spaces and Community Consultant Shea Hatch will then run through the 101 of nature play space design, what to expect on the journey to creating your own nature play space and of course how to ensure you get what your community needs.
