\\ a sexy Islamic clown show //

The Girl just wants to have fun. When this young Arab Muslim falls in love with a stranger at a theatre show...it's a recipe for disaster.

Fresh, provocative and raw, Sydney-based, French-trained physical theatre maker Randa Sayed brings her outrageous and touching new show Experience and the Girl for a special season at The Blue Room Theatre for Fringe World Festival.

What starts as a small seed of doubt about her chosen way of life develops into a full-blown, life-sized identity crisis. Soon she's secretly surfing the Internet in a quest to become just like her secret idol.

Drawing on her training in Europe and Australia and her love of clowning, Sayed's blend of physical theatre, self-deprecating humour and upfront honesty make this a refreshing Fringe World treat.

In the spirit of the 2013 Fringe World hit Le Foulard, this is an exciting, absurd and hilarious production not to be missed.

WARNING: May contain Islamic humour, a person of Arab descent, and shameless adoration of Beyoncé.
