Feline Medicine: Improving your approach to & management of common problems

Keynote speaker and internationally-renowned feline specialist Dr Andrea Harvey has extensive experience working in both UK and Australian clinics. Andrea brings a practical approach to cases and a thorough understanding of the challenges faced by veterinarians in general practice. This is amply illustrated in the best-selling BSAVA Manual of Feline Practice, which Andrea co-edits.

Andrea’s experience and expertise will be complemented by a highly talented panel of local speakers, each with a wealth of experience in their various fields and areas of interest.

Topics covered in this 2-day seminar include: vomiting and diarrhoea, jaundice, anaemia, inflammatory liver disease, pancreatitis, diabetes mellitus and idiopathic cystitis. Discover why ‘Cat Friendly Clinic’ accreditation is so important both for standards of feline medicine and patient care, but also in building the feline side of veterinary businesses.

This course is designed to arm practitioners with practical tools and tips for optimising their approach to, and management of, common and challenging feline medical presentations and disorders – don’t miss it!

Course also runs in Townsville in November
