After a string of devastating shows across 2016 with bands such as Cryptopsy, Thy Art Is Murder and Psycroptic, Hadal Maw rounded out the year by dropping the first single from their much anticipated second album "Olm", to be released via EVP Recordings on February 3, 2017.
The result is a departure from their total break-neck technical death metal roots. Hadal Maw’s music has evolved and features sprawling atmosphere, thunderous groove and memorable, crushing guitar lines that meld with their distinct dissonance tinged hooks that they’ve become renowned for.
Since the 2014 release of their debut album Senium, Hadal Maw have cemented themselves among Australia’s death metal elite with their modern reimagining of the genre and sonically devastating live show.
