In Your Head is WA's first Youth Mental Health Forum.

This Mental Health Week we invite you to be inspired by amazing heroes and discover a range of ways to maintain good mental health. This Forum will feature a wide range of speakers and performances and will take an innovative look at what it is to be mentally healthy.

Date: Wednesday 12th October 2016
Time: 9:00am - 2:30pm
Venue: Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre
Cost: Students starting from $40 and teachers/adults starting from $15

What to expect:
- Keynote presentations & panel discussions with mental health leaders
- A variety of workshops to select from, including:
*The science of happiness
*Managing Stress & Anxiety
*LGBTQI
*Suicide in remote WA
*Understanding self harm
*Cultural Diversity & Mental Health
*Stress management activities
- Mental Health Exhibition

Keynote Speakers include:

Brant Garvey: Brant is a professional triathlete, 2016 Paralympian and inspirational speaker. Brant redefines the word resilient and is dedicated to helping others to develop the tools they need to face their fears, overcome their obstacles and to chase big dreams.

Greg Hire: Greg is the vice-captain of the Perth Wildcats. He has a passion for working with young people, which has taken him into remote communities within WA. Greg also recently launched the Rise Up mentoring program as a part of his charity, A Stitch In Time.

Chris Darmody: Chris is a Clinical Psychologist who has been working in the youth sector for the past 10 years. He has a passion for finding alternative ways of working with young people beyond traditional problem-focused therapies. Chris believes that every individual has the ability to be the expert of themselves.
