The Consulting Society and Bloom have come together to present a special event on life after consulting. The skills learnt as a consultant are similar to the skills entrepreneurs need to be able to think creatively and maximise opportunities, so moving into start ups is often an easy progression for consultants.

Keynote speaker, Ajay Malhotra, will be talking about his experiences in consulting, what led him to make the ultimate decision to pursue an entrepenurial path, and how the skills from his time in consulting facilitated a smooth transition into the start-up sector.

An entrepreneur at heart, Ajay started his first business at the age of 12. He went on to complete a Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Commerce at UWA. After graduating he took up a management consulting position at Port Jackson Partners in Sydney where he had the opportunity to work on strategy projects both in Australia and Europe.

Ajay soon realised his passion was in running his own business and he returned to Perth to the party hire business he started while at university. He has grown this business to include 2 of Perth’s largest party stores stocking over 6000 products and has provided equipment hire to over 15,000 events in Perth.

This event is held at the Bloom Lab at St Catherines College.

Tickets are STRICTLY LIMITED, it is essential that you reserve your seat here: http://tdy.cl/e/57cJXeo
