As one of Australia's biggest food and wine festivals, the Margaret River Gourmet Escape celebrates produce from across WA with an abundance of food, premium wine and celebrity chefs ready to impart their hard-won food knowledge.
The cornerstone of the festival is the Gourmet Village in the Leeuwin Estate. World-famous chefs from Australia and abroad come together in locally themed demonstrations, Q&As, panel discussions and masterclasses to cook, teach, guide and answer your burning culinary questions.
Visitors can craft their own adventure in a series of satellite events which will highlight local flavours for a crowd of almost 20,000 food and wine connoisseurs. 2016's event saw the Nigella Lawson pay her first visit to the Margaret River region alongside local heroes Andrew McConnell, Giovanni Di Serio and Aaron Carr. Prepare to eat and imbibe until you're fit to burst.
