Spring is the perfect time for new beginning. Together as an intentional community we can support each other in practising mindful awareness. Through regular practice at home and as a group we can find a peaceful place inside from where we can build on our inner strengths to navigate the challenges of today’s world with resilience, kindness and compassion.

Mindfulness practice can help you to feel more spaciousness in your day, reduce stress, go with the flow and rediscover a sense of wonder with life. Curious? Looking for a supportive community to explore mindfulness and establish a regular practice?

Our Mindful Living Program is a unique opportunity to commit to 2 months of living mindfully. Training involves a daily practice, a weekly class and three monthly workshops. You receive support for taking mindfulness into your daily life: eating, driving, working, walking, loving, and communicating. Open the doorway to the skill of meditation and bringing full awareness to the present moment.

Mindfulness is an essential skill for navigating the ups and downs of life and emotions that can for all of us be overwhelming at times. Mindfulness practice is not a fix and does not give answers. It does however help you move from the zone of automatic so many of us gravitate to.

Regular practice reduces stress, helps us to experience life from a wider perspective, and strengthens our ability to discern and problem solve. We begin to taste life, wonder, play, love and gratitude more fully and cultivate a whole new relationship with life.

Be part of a Mindful Living Community: This program is intended to facilitate a shared experience in mindful living where participants support each other in their journey. The facilitator Sydel Weinstein shares information, resources, personal experience and provides a loving context.

Who should do this training?
Mindfulness Training is for everyone. All of us are mindful at times and have the potential for mindful awareness. You do not have to be interested in Yoga necessarily. Body awareness is a foundation of our practice and mindful movement is one of our key practices for deepening mind-body connection. The Mindful Yoga classes are gentle, simple general Hatha Yoga poses combined with deep-resting restorative yoga positions accessible to all. In Mindfulness practice and Mindful Yoga we are all beginners.

Mindfulness practice is recommended for all yoga students and teachers and will support you in taking your yoga practice to a deeper level.

What does training involve?
3 Mindfulness Training Workshops:
Session 1: November 22nd Sun.10am-1pm (Body Awareness)
Session 2: December 13th Sun. 10am-1pm (Emotions/Thoughts)
Session 3: January 17th Sun.10am-1pm (Communication /relationship)
Plus 10 Mindful Yoga classes: Wednesday nights at 7pm. First Wed class Wednesday Novemeber 25th Alternative Weekly Class time Friday's 5.30pm Therapeutic Yoga) PLUS your own Daily Practice. PDF attached below
