Getting those last few essays in? Starting to think about exams? Concerned about the number of potential customers you should be speaking to? Feeling overwelmed at the prospect of doing it all at once?!

We are really lucky to be joined this week by Tasmiah (Tas) Masih. Tas is a registered yoga teacher (RYT 500+) and a PhD candidate at the University of Western Australia. She first began yoga in 2005 while overseas and continued on to train as an advanced yoga teacher in 2011. Although, her own practice began primarily with the physical aspects of yoga, over the years she has developed a particular passion for maintaining the ‘inner practice’ of silence, relaxation, meditation and mindful movement. Since becoming a yoga teacher, Tas has completed further teacher trainings in Restorative Yoga, iRest Yoga Nidra, Storytime Yoga for Kids, and Functional Synergy Therapeutic Yoga. More recently, she competed the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) - Mindfulness Tools and Intensive Professional Training at the University of Massachusetts, USA.

Inspired by her belief in the scientific method, she also began her PhD at UWA, comparing the physiological and psychological effects of stress and relaxation in 2013. As Tas juggles being a mother of three kids, a wife and daughter, a student and teacher, AND keeping sane, her sincere hope is to help people find calm, amid the daily circus of work, study and family .
