Perth's cerebral metallers Nucleust have had a big year in 2016 starting with an opening slot for Soilwork early in the year, releasing their second EP "Resistivity", touring interstate with raging shows in Sydney and Melbourne and scoring a successful supporting spot with Lacuna Coil to top things off!

The media have been hot on their heels too with radio shows like Andrew Haug Radio and RTR-FM taking notice and spinning their tunes while the press are giving rave reviews so far.

"Resistivity is a compact but abundant progressive metal powerhouse that is well worth investing some of your hard earned cash and precious time in" - Beat Magazine

"All in all Resistivity is a damn solid release. Sit up and take notice because Nucleust are a band worthy of your time" - Metal Obsession

"Nucleust are a band that showcase a great and honest sound. It might be loud and abrasive at times, but it’s clearly on point" - Prog-Sphere

"Resistivity is an EP that tells us what some of us already knew. Nucleust are the next big thing in Aussie metal and this is just the release that is going to get them here. All hail Nucleust’s brutal sounds of the west" - Heavy Magazine

Nucleust continue that success with the launch of a new video for the epic track "Of King And Tree" and the band will help push the release with a special launch show at Amplifier Bar on December 10th. Supporting will be 3 great Perth bands who will bring some diverse metal for the night:

Main support comes from Förstöra who bring their hardcore/crust/sludge sound to deliver a crushing live show that will get the crowd moshing hard.
SHANGRILÁ are newcomers to the hardcore scene and with a debut EP already out, they are a band worthy of your time.
Opening the night will be Remission who will showcase their brand of melodic, groove laden metal to the masses.

Doors at 8pm, tickets will be $15 at the door.

"Resistivity" is out now through Rockpit Records
