Enjoy free live radio from RTRFM and local music under the stars this spring with #CourtyardClub!
Courtyard Club takes place every Friday at the State Theatre Centre of WA Courtyard from Friday, 30 October - Friday, 18 December. Catch a live outside broadcast of RTRFM's popular Drivetime program from 5pm, plus live performances from some of Perth’s finest acts and RTRFM DJs.
The series opens on Friday 30 October with live sets from up-and-coming grunge rockers Tired Lion; garage-pop kings The Spunloves and RTRFM’s DJ Andrew Sinclair on the decks ‘til late.
Friday 6 November sees WAM program a special edition of Courtyard Club as part of the 2015 WAM Festival. The Courtyard Club WAM Showcase will feature talented local musicians across a variety of genres, including Ben Witt Quartet, Gunns, The High Learys, Rachael Dease and Ruby Boots; all broadcast live to air on RTRFM’s Drivetime.
Courtyard Club’s 2015 season will also feature performances from hip-hop emcee Mathas, lo-fi experimental dreamgirl Rabbit Island, rapidly ascending experimental pop trio Methyl Ethel, ethereal electro-pop collective Joni in the Moon, budding electronic producer Tourist Kid, and Perth’s leading purveyors of soul, Odette Mercy and Her Soul Atomics.
Courtyard Club is an all-ages event, with a licensed bar and food options available, making it the perfect place to celebrate the end of the working week and soak up Perth’s beautiful weather.
