Time Out says

Known until 2018 as the Perth Arena, the RAC Arena is an architectural standout of an venue space with huge, jagged, prism-like walls and a striking blue and grey facade. Look familiar? That's because it's modelled on the Eternity Puzzle, a tiling puzzle that was marketed as unsolveable (long story short, two mathematicians ended up solving it in 2000).

The RAC Arena opened in 2012, and since then it has hosted international superstars including Celine Dion, Prince and Beyoncé. It's an instantly recognisable part of urban Perth life, and also a go-to for sporting matches like basketball, netball and tennis. It has hosted the Hopman Cup and seen the likes of Roger Federer and Serena Williams play on its courts. Book a ticket to see a blockbuster concert, sporting match or performance when you're in town – it's the place to be if you're looking for big names.
