Swing your hips, and tap your toes, Retro Rewind is back!

Just in time for National Parks Week, the City of Wanneroo will take you back in time at the beautiful surrounds of Yanchep National Park for a day of vintage frivolity and fun.

Retro Rewind ft. The Vintage Collective Markets showcases the classics of days gone by featuring music from a rockabilly era. This year, three awesome bands will grace the stage and will be sure to your toes tapping.

Retro Rewind headliner Amanda Canzurlo aka ‘BLOOM’ will bring her soulful vocals to Yanchep National Park. Showcasing the songs of two amazing artists… Adele and Amy Winehouse, the superstar backed by an explosive 5-piece band will pay homage to the mind-blowing vocals of Adele and Amy.

Prepare yourself for a super soul spectacular! Milford Street Shaker’s sound is eclectic and energetic, bridging the simplicity of blues with the sheer expressivity of R&B, going for an engaging and direct twist. Bringing a fresh, new sound, this band is guaranteed to get you swinging.

The Mastertones are a groove, soul, R&B, motown and funk 8-piece band showcasing big sounds of trumpet, saxophone and trombone. The Mastertones create a crazy big sound and provide a relentless, high energy party experience with their expansive repertoire including well-known songs from 60s soul and motown all the way through to current dance hits.

The Vintage Collective Markets are back this year and will be bringing more than 60 vintage themed stalls to the beautiful setting of Yanchep National Park.

There will also be many free children’s activities on offer at Retro Rewind including lawn games, a bouncy castle and face painting.

The kids will be kept entertained for hours with retro arcade games, flower crown making and paper aeroplane making to amuse them.

Young and old alike will also be able to partake in swing dance workshops and get dressed up to have their photos taken in the Vintage Photo Booth. The event will also feature vintage hot rods and roving pin up performers.

The festival will give residents a chance to discover more about their City’s history with the Wanneroo Museum’s ‘Wind Back Wanneroo’ exhibition on display too.

The event is free and park entry fees will be waived specially for event attendees.
